Torna anche quest’anno l’attesissimo Bonecrusher Fest: il festival itinerante che dallo scorso anno spezza ossa e spacca timpani per tutta l’Europa. Headliners di questo giro gli apocalittici DYING FETUS, i padri del death metal/grind più estremo, CARNEFIX with them, the epic black metal band Keep of Kalessin typically Norwegian, but Burning The Masses, the Fleshgod APCALYPSE our own trash and the Angelus of stateless persons. Only two Italian dates of this tour devastating: the first is in Bologna.

The lights of the Power Station is the stage name of Vasco Brondi, 24 year old singer / songwriter from Ferrara.
After an eponymous EP in 2007, a myriad of concerts and excellent results in independent Italian music world debuts on long distance with "Songs from the beach disfigured", debut album, published by The Tempest, the label of the Dropkick Murphys, and produced by Giorgio Canali (CCCP, CSI, PGR, Rossofuoco). The record, in autumn 2008, he won the Tenco Prize for best first work. In 2010 comes the second album "For now we call happiness."

Thu 10 Mar - Babaman (Reggae - Italy)

Today Babaman (real name Massimo Corrado) è uno dei pochi artisti Rastafariani di musica raggamuffin/reggae/hip hop in Italia. Dopo anni di militanza nell'underground milanese, nel 1998 con il nome di Mr. Baba produce il Demo “Occhi semi kiusi”. Nel 2000 esce la sua prima autoproduzione, “L'occhio”. Del 2004 il suo secondo lavoro autoprodotto “Prima di partire”. Babaman si avvicina ancora di più al mondo del reggae ed al Rastafarianesimo e nel 2006 pubblica “Fuoco sulle masse”, che anticipa l’album “Come un uragano”, in puro stile raggamuffin conscious. Escono quindi "Dinamite" (2008) e “Riddim Runner 2009” (2009). Nell'Ottobre 2009 pubblica insieme al rapper - beatmaker milanese Bassi Maestro “La Lettera B”. Il 12 ottobre 2010 arriva il nuovo disco intitolato “Raggasonico”.

Eredi di un sound tipicamente british, insieme ad Editors, unici rappresentanti credibili di un rock oscuro e magico che ha ereditato nei suoi cromosomi lo stile e la ricercatezza di band come Joy Division e The Cure unendo anche una spiccata ricerca the pop song format. White Lies will present their new album, titled "Ritual," for release in early January at the label Fiction / Universal, produced by Alan Moulder (who has worked with Depeche Mode, NIN, Smashing Pumpkins) and preceded by the single Bigger Than Us (available at late November). Needless to say, the proof of the band's second album is one of London's most anticipated act of 2011.

Their splashes of instrumental color in unscrupulous make melodic intensity jump of joy among wild dancing and revelry in the streets. For over ten years playing for the people, provide moments of joy with their chattering expressive urgency. Entered the "Guinness Book of Records" as the record holder for world's longest musical performance, playing the same song for 30 hours at a time. After 12 years of the publication of the first album the Nursery Arac present their "album container" Taranta Container ". The album contains songs from 6 albums published from 1998 to 2007 completely rearranged, a novel written by Vinicio Capossela and 5 remixes of many European artists

THE Buccaneers are one of the most tireless European bands (in training can count on musicians from Germany, Austria, but also Canada) and the result of their work is a mix of rock, folk and punk, an extraordinary cocktail of melody, catchy songs and pieces. In recent years the band played from all over Europe and has deservedly earned a reputation as one of the best live bands there are right now. Their style is inspired by the street punk bands like Flogging Molly and The Street Dogs.
THE Porters have roots in the heart of Germany, but a passionate love for traditional Irish music, Irish folk melodies that express themselves through a mix of pure rock'n'roll energy. Flute, accordion, banjo and mandolin and guitar power: ne esce un German-Irish Folk Rock diverso da quanto potete aver mai ascoltato fino ad oggi.

Gli APRES LA CLASSE sono tornati sulle scene lo scorso 20 aprile con un nuovo album: “MAMMALITALIANI”. La title track, scritta insieme a Caparezza, amico di sempre e “complice” dell’intero progetto, è un inconfondibile reggaeton in cui gli Apres La Classe pongono l’accento sulla visione italica in questo periodo storico. L’album contains 13 tracks of drum'n'bass, reggae, rock and songwriting. Issues pass through the reflection of the historical moment in which we live to 360 °, from politics to social issues, faith, love and understanding art as music.
A new chapter, then, for the band who invented a kind of "Patchanka" in our local salsa Salento, where reggae, rock, electronic pop and "pinches" are mixed perfectly. The guys behind the other three albums and hundreds and hundreds of kilometers in length and breadth of the peninsula. And most importantly, lots and lots of never-ending desire to have fun and entertain.
Barry Scratchy Myers aka DJ, is the historic TourDj CLASH and the legendary star of a glittering career which saw him accompanied with his DJ set, world tour of the likes of Iggy Pop, Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros, The Pogues and Gogol Bordello. Scratchy ranges from punk to reggae and ska, through rock and electronic sounds with a wink, knowing you and knowing who has experienced first hand the history of modern music. In the final set is absolutely engaging, suitable for those who want to go wild on the dance floor but also to those who want to listen to a sound sought by selecting a true legend of the alternative music scene.

Born in 1991 as a group imbued with the spirit of Irish folk and punk music traditions of the province of Emilia, the MCR have developed their own personal patchanka, rapidly becoming a model for all the Italian artists who have approached the general. Always "carriers" of messages politically and socially engaged, over the years have spread their combat folk throughout Italy. After the departure of Cisco and the arrival of David and Betty, in 2006 the Modena City Ramblers released "After the long winter," new chapter of songs to dance and to think, and in early 2008 their first international project: "Hello Beautiful (italian folk for the combat masses). In 2009 he released "free wave": 12 new songs, which have as their main theme of freedom and legality. Not by chance were also presented with the tour of the Caravan of Legality organized with Libera, the association founded by Don Luigi Ciotti. In late September, after a busy summer of concerts, Kaba Cavazzuti Betty Vezzani and leave the Ramblers, a decision taken jointly, due to purely personal lifestyle choices.
In November, to celebrate the 15 years since the first album, "reports all in house", the MCR will leave for a concert series that sees them faithfully reproduce the live set that featured the band in 1994.

Back in one of the only Italian festival folk-metal the most anticipated by the public: Paganfest 2011! After the success of the last Italian date of Korpiklaani Magazzini Generali in Milan, we will review the band headlined the Finnish captain Paganfest 2011, along with other high-sounding names of the extreme metal scene: UNLEASHED, Moonsorrow, Varga, KIVIMETSÄN DRUIDS. An evening of pagan culture, including elves and northern Europe.

Ven 25 mar – ESTRAGON REGGAE FESTIVAL con JUNIOR KELLY (Jamaica) + MICROGUAGUA (Barcellona) + special guest
Appuntamento con il ritmo in levare in compagnia di Junior Kelly, uno dei più significativi protagonisti della musica reggae Giamaicana. Personaggio dal vissuto travagliato, è autore della hit “If Love So Nice”, che nel 2000 resta per ben 15 settimane al numero uno della classifica giamaicana e con l'album dall'omonimo titolo permette all'artista di farsi conoscere in tutto il mondo. Seguiranno svariati album. Nel 2010, dopo cinque anni di silenzio, esce il suo ultimo lavoro “Red Pond”: un album in cui Junior fa alla grande quello che sa fare meglio e cioè scrivere e cantare canzoni di redenzione con grande sincerità e passione.
Ad aprire la serata ci saranno i Microguagua, nome che nella seconda metà degli anni 2000 comincia a girare nell’ambiente alternativo di Barcellona. Nel 2008 esce "ROOTSIDE", il primo disco acustico ufficiale del gruppo, dal sound Reggae e Roots, seguito l’anno dopo da "BARRIO SANTO".

Sab 26 mar – CAPAREZZA (Hip hop - Italia)
A distanza di tre anni da "Le dimensioni del mio caos", Caparezza torna in studio di registrazione per dare alle stampe il 1° March 2011 his new solo album, the first release for Universal Music in Italy. The album (currently untitled, but could be called "The boias") is anticipated by the movies shown on the official website of the artist. Michele Salvemini (his real name) began his career as Mikimix with "Women in skirts" in 1996. In 1997 he took part in Sanremo with the song "And the night goes away" and the album "My lucky star", before a period of detachment from the scene. "Caparezza!?", Released in 2000 is his first album, but it was with "Sober" and "Capa" gets accolades and successes contained in "In supposed veritas "(2003) became one of the summer hits of 2004. He published "Habemus Head" (2006) and "The size of my chaos" (2008).

La Fura dels Baus in "Titus Andronicus de degustación"
arrives in Bologna on the new show de la Fura dels Baus: a new challenge for the Catalan company, that with this new production, directed by Pep Gatell, opened the 2010 season. This is the tenth "La Fura language show" an adaptation of Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, entitled "degustación de Titus Andronicus. "With this creation La Fura dels Baus returns to the universal language based on action, image, music and performance space shared with the audience. The word is the background and starts the sensory and aesthetic language that has consolidated company internationally. But with this proposal goes even further Fura dels Baus: Merge Theater and gastronomy.
